Feeling sad today - I found out this morning that my brother and his partner have lost their expected baby. They went for the first scan this morning (at 12 weeks) to find that the foetus had died at around 9.5 weeks according to the measurements.
Obviously this little one was not meant to be, but it takes a while to get your head around it. They do have a lovely little son already who is almost 2 years old, and I'm sure they'll be fine after a while. In the meantime we're sending them lots of virtual hugs and loving wishes to help them along.

So sorry to hear that sad news, Steph. I'm thinking of you and your family.
My best wishes and thoughts for your brother and his family. I know from personal experience how difficult it is but also offer the encouragement that things do get better with time.
